| FLAT RATE REPAIR POLICY | ||||||
| Each repair item will carry a minimum charge of $225. The charge for repair of the item will be based upon a percentage of | ||||||
| the current published price for a new model. The normal turnaround time for repairs is two weeks. If testing of the unit | ||||||
| does not disclose any problem, or the unit is not repairable, the charge will be 20% of the published price of the unit, or the | ||||||
| minimum charge of $225. HMW reserves the right to substitute or exchange an equivalent unit for the customer-supplied | ||||||
| unit to expedite repair unless the customer specifically requests that their own unit be returned to them. | ||||||
| REPAIR/EXCHANGE POLICY | ||||||
| HMW provides repair/exchange service on reconditioned modules depending upon availability. The charge for a | ||||||
| customer requested repair/exchange is 60% of the current published price for a reconditioned model, provided that a: | ||||||
| The unit returned to HMW is deemed repairable, b:the unit is returned to HMW within a reasonable period of time, | ||||||
| generally within 30 days from the ship date of the exchange unit, and c: the unit returned is the same model as | ||||||
| the unit shipped. | ||||||
| UPGRADES | ||||||
| Upgrades are quoted at the time of issuance of an RMA# or after inspection of the unit. | ||||||
| SALE OF NEW PARTS | ||||||
| Parts or assemblies are sold through the Sales/Service department. Minimum order requirement is $225 and $75 per line item. | ||||||
| MODIFICATIONS | ||||||
| New equipment which is reurned to HMW for special modifications will be handled as an RMA through the service dept. | ||||||
| Price quotation for modifications will be handled by the sales/service department. | ||||||
| SERVICE WARRANTY | ||||||
| A repair performed by HMW Enterprises, Inc. is warranted for 90 days from the date the unit leaves our plant. | ||||||
| The service warranty only covers the specific repair or items charged on the service invoice. If the previous repair of the unit | ||||||
| is found defective while under warranty, it will be repaired again at no charge. If the unit is found not defective, either a service | ||||||
| charge of 20% of the current published price for a new model or the $225 minimum fee will be assessed, whichever is higher. | ||||||
| SHIPPING CHARGES AND POLICY | ||||||
| The customer will be responsible for all shipping charges on repaired items. HMW will not accept collect shipments. Unless | ||||||
| other arrangements are made, units will be returned to the customer freight collect via the same or equivalent freight carrier | ||||||
| the customer used to ship the unit to HMW. | ||||||
