    Pill Drying System - Pills or tablets as they are called in pharmaceutical jargon are produced by compression stamping the basic compound in paste form. Moisture content in the paste is in most cases alcohol or some other ester, and in almost all cases flammable. This obviously requires that control systems for the process, particularly the drying cycle will not only have to be in stainless enclosures, but also be certified for hazardous area operation. HMW designs and produces systems for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and other applications where the environment needs to be “protected against the equipment.”

    Specialty Brick Factory – Automate 80 year old specialty antique style building brick manufacturing machine. Machine had to produce bricks with varying physical shapes and sizes, but material (mud) had to be consistent through out the forming process. HMW developed and integrated system hardware (A/B Based), wrote software to achieve the specific parameters (developed in cooperation with customer personnel), and installed and commissioned the system.
